Home Advanced/Metastatic Chemotherapy
Chemotherapy

Chemotherapy continues to be a viable treatment option in the advanced/metastatic breast cancer setting for ER-negative cancers or ER-positive breast cancers no longer responsive to hormonal therapy. Numerous options exist in terms of single-agent or combination regimens, and the optimal regimen for each patient will largely depend upon the response of the tumor to the treatment and the side effects of the chemotherapy. Improved mechanisms of delivering cytotoxic drugs that allow better tolerability and dosing efficacy are currently under evaluation.
